Troy loses 5-0 at Alabama

Tuscaloosa, Ala. - The Troy University Soccer team was held to just one shot in a 5-0 loss at Alabama on Friday night.
Alabama got goals from Gillian Kilburn, Libby Probst, Jordan O'Banion and Allison DeLisle to take a 4-0 lead at the half. Katie French scored on a penalty kick in the first minute of the second half to push the advantage to 5-0.
TROY junior Emily Cobb got off the lone Trojan shot. The Crimson Tide had played 149 minutes at home before allowing a goal, and they out shot TROY 33-1.
Goalkeeper Laura Longard had 10 saves in the match for the Trojans.
The Trojans are now 1-3-1 on the season. They play their home opener on Sunday at 1 p.m. when they host the Bulldogs of The Citadel.
