Troy falls 6-0 at FAU

Boca Raton, Fla. - The Troy University soccer team was out shot 34-3 in a 6-0 loss to Florida Atlantic on Saturday.
Denise Brolly scored the first of her three goals for FAU (10-3-3, 7-2-1) in the 21st minute. Eleven minutes later Katri Nokso-Koivisto scored off a Kari Fernandez corner kick to give FAU a 2-0 advantage that they would take into the half. Troy (5-9-3, 3-4-2) was only able to manage one shot in the first 45 minutes.
Brolly got her second goal of the night when she scored off a throw-in in the 60th minute. Fernandez had the assist. Nokso-Koivisto scored unassisted on a break-away goal ten minutes later, and Brolly completed the hat trick in the 77th minute when she scored off a pass from Nokso-Koivisto.
Christina Change brought the score to 6-0 when she scored unassisted in the 84th minute.
Troy goalkeeper Laura Longard recorded 10 saves in the match. FAU's keepers Megan Coyne and Christine Lilley notched one save apiece.
Troy rounds out the regular season with a match at UCF on Sunday at noon.
