Casey Cepicky enters her third season as a graduate assistant at Troy, and leads setter technique training while assisting in other areas such as offense, blocking, and out-of-system. Cepicky currently runs the daily operations for Troy Volleyball.
Cepicky helped coach the Trojans to their two best conference finishes in 2022 (11-5) and 2023 (12-4). Each season set a record for the most conference wins in program history. In 2023, Tori Hester and Julia Brooks earned All-Sun Belt First Team honors, while Janelle Stuempfig was named All-Sun Belt Second Team. Cepicky has coached Stuempfig to the ninth most assists in program history with 1,120 through two seasons.Â
Cepicky entered her first year as a Graduate Assistant with the Troy Volleyball program in the spring of 2022 after spending five seasons playing for the University of Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles as a setter. During her time at USI, she earned two second-team All-GLVC awards, earned GLVC offensive and defensive Player of the Week awards, and finished third in overall assists. She is the only player in the history of USI to have over 3,000 assists and over 1,000 digs.
During her playing career, she has developed in coaching through assisting High Performance STL volleyball club teams and giving private lessons: 15 Orange (2021), 17 Orange (2021-2022), and 18 Royal (2021-2022).
Cepicky graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in business administration in 2021.
