Deborah Bulai enters her first season at Troy, where she will serve as an assistant coach, specializing in throws.
Bulai joins head coach Marc Davis’ staff after an impressive collegiate career in the hammer throw, weight throw, and discus events.
She began her career at Cloud Community College in 2018, where she competed in the hammer throw, weight throw and discus. She was an NJCAA First-Team All-American in the hammer throw, and an NJCAA Second-Team All-American in the hammer throw and the discus throw.
She then transferred to Ole Miss, where was an All-American in the indoor weight throw in 2020. She was also a two-time regional qualifier in the hammer.
Bulai finished up her college career at Texas State, where she took part in the hammer throw. She placed third in the Sun Belt Conference Championships in the hammer throw and was a regional qualifier.
The Cedar Hills, Texas, native completed her bachelor of arts in multidisciplinary studies in 2022 from Ole Miss.
