2007: Played in 62 games, starting 62 ... Batted .324 with eight home run and 39 RBI’s on the season ... recorded two hits and three RBI’s in the championship of the Lion Classic, hitting her first home run of the season ... rapped three hits with a home run on Feb. 24 against Louisiana Tech and two hits and two RBI’s with a home run against Southern Miss on Feb. 25 as part of the Easton Purple and Gold Challenge ... Had two hits, three RBI’s and a homer against Georgetown in the third round of the Buzz Classic on March 3 ... hit a two-run home run against UAB on March 14 to help lead Troy to a 4-2 victory ... Recorded two hits and five RBI’s against Alabama A&M on March 21 ... Led Troy to a victory over Western Kentucky with two hits and two RBI on March 31 ... Also hit conference home runs against Florida Atlantic and Louisiana-Lafayette.
Junior College: Played shortstop at Wallace Community College in Dothan, Ala., for two years under coach Gene Dews... received all-district and all-region honors her sophomore year... hit three home runs her freshman year and five her sophomore year... held a .356 batting average during her sophomore year... led the team in walks her sophomore season.
High School: Attended Pascagoula High (Miss.) where she played varsity softball for six years under coaches K. Morgan, P. Buckner and L. Hanna... played second base and shortstop, starting at shortstop for three years... team was named 2001 Mississippi State Champions... received all-state honors her junior year, all-district honors her sophomore, junior and senior years, and all-region and all-area honors her junior and senior years... was named one of her high school’s top 10 athletes her junior and senior year... named Mississippi Softball High School All-Star MVP... played for the summer league team Mississippi Coastliners... also played volleyball and basketball.
Personal: Born Dec. 5, 1985, in Pascagoula, Miss. ... daughter of Eleanor and Cornelious Louis Davis IV... has two brothers, Harold Scott Davis and Cornelious Davis V... her biggest personal sports thrill was beating the University of Alabama 1-0 her freshman year... majoring in physical education.
