Nick Anderson begins his first season at Troy working with the special teams as an analyst. Anderson joins the Troy staff following a brief stint as a quality control analyst at Samford where he worked with the Bulldogs’ running backs.
Anderson began his collegiate playing career at Carson Newman (2007) before transferring to UAB (2008-10) where he was named the Blazers’ scout team player of the year in 2009. He graduated from Alabama-Huntsville with a degree in marketing in 2013.
Following graduation, Anderson served as the running backs coach at Bob Jones High School for three seasons and helped lead the squad to three straight region titles. He then moved into the business world for three years before working as an offensive consultant at Madison Academy.
Anderson then spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Mountain Brook Junior High School before returning to the collegiate ranks at Samford in the spring of 2017.
