Troy Announces Game Themes for 2026 Football Season

TROY, Ala. – Troy Football season is right around the corner, and Troy Athletics announced Thursday the individual game themes for each of the Trojans' six home contests at The Vet.

"We never take for granted the opportunity to open the gates of The Vet for Trojan Nation, Troy Athletics Director Kyle George said. The fan experience drives everything we do, both in preparation for gameday and throughout the season. There's nothing like Gameday at The Vet, and we're looking forward to another exciting year of Troy Football."

The Trojans are coming off their third Sun Belt West Division title and berth in the Sun Belt Championship. Additionally, Troy signed the best recruiting class in program history, the second-best in the Group of Five and better than programs such as Penn State, Colorado, and Wisconsin.

Troy returns both starting quarterbacks from a year ago in Goose Crowder and Tucker Kilcrease, along with First Team All-American punter Evan Crenshaw and the Sun Belt sack leader, Donnie Smith.
