2008: Lead the Trojans' top-ranked defense with 126 overall tackles (coaches film) ... Named a first team All-Sun Belt performer...Posted six double-figure tackle games, including a season-high 24 stops against MTSU ... Recorded 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks ... Had two interceptions, including one he returned 18 yards early against MTSU to set up the Trojans' first score of the season ... Was twice named Troy's defensive player of the week, both times in games against nationally-ranked foes ... Against Ohio State, in a showdown of Butkus Award candidates, he had 15 total tackles, including 1.5 for loss, compared to 12 tackles, one for loss, by All-American James Laurinaitis ... Against LSU he was credited with 13 tackles and two PBU ...
