PREP: Three year starter at Newton HS... Was twice named a first team All-Region pick... Voted team captian as senior... Selected as Region Player of the Year as senior... Recorded 189 carries for 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns his senior year... Holds school record with 300 yards in one game... Also a member of the wrestling and track team.
PERSONAL: Native of Kalamazoo, Michigan... Son of Barbara and Lee Blanton... Has one brother- Durand (33), and one sister- Latrice (35)... Sports and Fitness Managment Major.
