2009: Saw action in five games as a wide receiver ... Completed a 17-yard pass on a trick play to fellow wide receiver Jason Bruce for a touchdown against Arkansas.
2008: Moved from quarterback to receiver during spring drills, but moved back to QB during the season due to injuries ... Saw action in six games on the season ... Had one reception, for 12 yards, against Alcorn State ... Completed one of two passes, completing a throw-back pass to Tanner Jones for 48 yards against North Texas.
2007: Redshirted.
2006:
Saw action in three games as backup quarterback... Completed both
of his pass attempts for the season, for minus one yard, both in the
season-opener against Alabama
State ... Had two rushing
attempts for three yards on the year.
High School:
Selected to the 2003 and 2005 All-Area team ... Led his
team to the state quarterfinals in 2003 and semifinals in 2005 earning team MVP
awards along the way ... Played in just three games as a junior because of a
broken collar bone ... Was an honorable mention All-State pick as a senior
after passing for 1,293 yards and nine touchdowns ... Also rushed for 323 yards
and seven TDs ... During his sophomore season he threw for 1,508 yards and 10
scores while rushing for 404 yards and five touchdowns ... Was a member of the Opelika-Auburn
News Elite Eight and, in 2003, was named the O-A News breakout
