2008: Former walk-on who was named as a semi-finalist for the Lou Groza Award during the fall in his first season as the Trojans placekicker ... Was a second team All-Sun Belt performer...Started the season by making his first 12 field goal attempts as well as his first 19 PAT kicks ... After a mid-season slump, made three straight field goals before having an attempt blocked in the Arkansas State game ... Finished the season with 24 consecutive PAT’s made ... Finshed 7-of-9 from 40-49 yards ... Missed twice from beyond 50 yards, including a 56-yard attempt at the end of the game at ULM that hit the crossbar, leaving Troy one point short in its only league loss ... Lead the team, and finished third in the league, in points scored ... Finished the season ranked 24th in the nation in scoring ... His 108 points set a school single-season scoring record... Also broke the school record for field goals made in a season (20) and set a new school mark for FG attempts in a season (29) ... Finished the season tied for fourth on the Troy single-season list for PAT kicks made (48) and fourth in attempts (52) in a season.
