Softball Travels to Take on Louisiana

TROY, Ala. – The Troy softball team is set to travel to Lafayette, La., to play Louisiana in a road series this week. The Trojans (22-12, 4-5 SBC) beat the Ragin' Cajuns (20-16, 3-6 SBC) in a series for the first time in program history last season and look to win their first road series this season.
The Trojans are fresh off a 10-2 win over Southern Miss last Sunday, after Tuesday's midweek tilt against Florida A&M was postponed due to weather. Sophomore outfielder Kiley Huffman won the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday after going 10-for-14 the previous week.
