Men’s Tennis Takes Down Jackson State, 4-0

Jackson, Miss. - Troy men's tennis clinches its 4-0 win against Jackson State, after dominating in doubles and singles play Saturday morning at the JSU Tennis Center.
Troy (14-4) secured the advantage after freshmen Ryusei Miyazato and Stephan Tavares Noale won on Court 3, 6-1, and junior Luciano Alcocer and senior Yeray Andres Pastor won on Court 1, 6-3.
This marks Alcocer and Pastor's first win as a pair in doubles this season, while Miyazato and Noale are now 2-0 in doubles.
During singles play, Noale and freshman Ausias Martin Melo won their courts through straight sets, while Pastor won Court 3 by retirement from senior Jhoan Vaquero.
The Trojans are now 5-4 away and will continue their weekend on the road at Mississippi as they go against Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State on Sunday.
