Â
TROY, Ala. – Coming off a Sun Belt Championship season on the men's side and a second-place finish on the women's side, Troy Athletics is once again continuing a comprehensive fundraising campaign to support both basketball programs.
Â
Fans can donate to the Fast Break Fundraising Campaign at various levels based on the combined 44 regular season wins between the two programs by visiting TroyTrojans.com/FastBreak.
Â
"Coach Rigby and Coach Cross have built the model of consistency with both of our basketball programs," Director of Athletics Kyle George said. "Year-in and year-out, our basketball programs are at the top of the Sun Belt Conference, and we intend to keep them there for years to come. The Fast Break Campaign is a great way for our incredible fans to continue investing in the success of our programs. This campaign is not about the current championship we just won – it's about helping us win the next ones!"
Â
Fans can donate at five different levels based on a dollar amount per combined regular season win after the men's team won 20 games for a fourth straight season and the women's team finished with 24 victories.Â

"We are extremely thankful to our amazing supporters; you truly make a difference in the stability and success of our program. These past two years have proven that we can win and win consistently at Troy, but it takes everyone for us to continue to push to the next level."
Â
"Our fans are the best in the Sun Belt, and we are blessed each time we take the court in Trojan Arena," women's head coach Chanda Rigby said. "Our fan-based supporters play a pivotal role in the past and future success of our program. We appreciate everyone who supports our program and Troy Athletics and ask that you help us continue to elevate the Troy Basketball brand through the Fast Break Campaign."
Â
The Troy men head to the Sun Belt Tournament as the No. 1 seed after winning the SBC regular season title for the second straight season. Cross and his squad won 20 games for a fifth straight season, paced by All-Sun Belt First Team selection Thomas Dowd and third team pick Victor Valdes.
Â
Led by Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year Zay Dyer, the Troy women enter the SBC Tournament as the No. 2 seed, marking the ninth time in the last 11 seasons that Troy has entered as a top-three seed and an 11th straight year in the top four. The Trojans enter play with 24 wins on their resume already, just one shy of the school record of 25 set during a 25-4 run in 2019-20.
