TROY, Ala. – Troy women's golf returns to the course for the second time this week, this time in Tallahassee, Fla., for the star-studded Florida State Match Up, held Friday through Sunday at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
The 12-team field features six teams ranked inside the top 55, including No. 18 Florida State, No. 28 Eastern Michigan and No. 35 Virginia.
Troy is coming off a tough performance at The Besty Rawls Invitational earlier this week, where the Trojans finished in 15th place in the 16-team field. Constanza Quiroga led the Trojans for the third time in the last four events.
She will be at the top of the Troy lineup and will be joined by lineup staples Victoria Stutts, Laura Fangmeyer and Manya Saini. Evelyn Tankersley joins the lineup this week for the first time since mid-October.
Troy opens Friday's first round along with Sam Houston and Murray State, beginning at 8:45 a.m. from the 10th tee.
