Faith Jones Shatters School Record En Route to Gold at Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Faith Jones won the women's 60-meter hurdles at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship.
Jones ran a blazing 8.32 to secure gold, shattering her own record of 8.48 that she set earlier this month at the UAB Invite. She also ran 8.47 in the prelims on day one to advance to the final with the second fastest time overall.
Rachel Whyte ran 55.71 in the women's 400m prelims to finish sixth and advance to the final, where she was disqualified.
The quartet of Rachel Whyte, Aaliyah Murphy, Haley Wilson and Kady Schwietz finished fifth in the women's 4x400 timed final, where they ran 3:44.60.
The Trojans will return to action for the 2026 outdoor season on March 20-21 at the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
