Fall Ball Schedule Released for 2025

TROY, Ala. – The Troy softball program announced its fall ball schedule for 2025 with an eight-game slate in the Troy Softball Complex that opens against ACC opponent Georgia Tech on Sept. 27 and ends against Coastal Alabama CC on Oct. 29.
"The team always looks forward to our fall dates, and we have the bonus of hosting all of them this year at the Troy Softball Complex," head coach Eric Newell said. "The fall schedule gives us a great opportunity to scrimmage against other teams and begin executing some of the offensive and defensive schemes that we are working on in our fall practices. This year's schedule is a good mixture of competition from an assortment of levels, whether it's an ACC opponent in Georgia Tech, an NAIA in Faulkner, a D-II school in Columbus State or a reigning JUCO champion in Northwest Florida."
For the second time in 2025, the Trojans invite the Yellow Jackets to Troy as the Fall Ball opener on Sept. 27. Georgia Tech managed three wins over top 25 programs in Auburn, Oklahoma State and Stanford.
The following week sees Northeast Alabama take on the Trojans to open the month of October (Oct. 1) and continues that Friday (Oct. 3) against the 2025 NJCAA D-I National Champions, Northwest Florida.
Another midweek matchup against Gulf Coast State marks Troy's fourth game of the schedule before taking on the pair of Tallahassee and Faulkner on Oct. 12 and Oct. 17, respectively.
Columbus State opens the final slate of 5 p.m. matchups when they head to the Troy Softball Complex on Oct. 24. Then, the Trojans conclude their fall ball schedule on Oct. 29 against Coastal Alabama.
