TROY, Ala. - Troy right-handed pitcher Adam Falinski signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Minnesota Twins following the conclusion of Monday's MLB Draft.
"First and foremost, Adam is one of the greatest kids I have had the fortune of coaching," Troy head coach Skylar Meade said. "It is exciting that he will be valued and have a chance to progress fast in such a quality organization like the Twins. Adam has a special arm, and the sky is the limit for his future."
Falinski is the fourth member of the 2025 Trojans to earn a professional opportunity, joining draft picks Brooks Bryan (8th round - Royals), Noah Edders (15th round - Cubs), and Jay Dill (18th round - Athletics).
Falinski, who transferred to Troy from Eastern Michigan this season, appeared in 18 games with seven starts and recorded 46 strikeouts in 46.1 innings for the Trojans in 2025. He pitched 3.2 innings without an earned run at No. 25 Auburn and struck out six across four innings in Troy's 6-5 win at No. 15 Mississippi State.
The senior put together two of his strongest performances in the cardinal and white down the final stretch of the season. Falinski pitched four hitless innings in relief against No. 19 Southern Miss before starting Troy's Sun Belt Tournament victory over Texas State, striking out seven across 5.2 innings while allowing just three hits and two runs.
