TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's basketball program continues its additions to the 2025-26 roster with the addition of Kamesha Moore from Florida Memorial, head coach Chanda Rigby announced Thursday afternoon.
"We are blessed to add Kamesha to our Trojan family," Rigby said. "To add a conference MVP to our roster this late in the recruiting season is something to shout about. She is experienced, poised and hungry to win a ring with Troy on it."
With the signing, Troy women's basketball adds its eighth addition to the roster as Moore joins Detavia Salter, Saniya Jackson, Aniya Hubbard, Shakirah Edwards, Rachel Leggett, Marianah Mapour and Lana Koricanac.
A 5-8 guard, Moore led Florida Memorial to the SUN Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championship with an 89-63 win over SEU to punch a ticket to the NAIA National Tournament. Alongside SUN Coach of the Year Kevin Herod, the Lions finished 24-5, 13-3 SUN, and won their first-round matchup of the NAIA Tournament over Indiana NW 85-76.
Moore averaged 13.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals to earn SUN Player of the Year. In league play, she elevated to 14.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists, shooting nearly 50 percent from the field. She was a pure scorer with 21 games in double-figures for the scoring column. Her career-high of 33 came on 12-of-21 shooting from the field and 7-of-9 at the line in 24 minutes over St. Thomas – Moore scored 22 points the game before at Coastal Georgia. The Roanoke Rapids native was also a ball hawk with a steal in all but one game and multiple steals in 20 – she swiped a career-high of eight against Ave Maria.
