TROY, Ala. - No. 14 Troy makes its final road trip of the regular season this weekend with a three-game Sun Belt series at Arkansas State Friday-Sunday.
The Trojans won their 12th consecutive series of the season at South Alabama last weekend before going 1-1 in the midweek with a 10-2 loss to No. 18 Alabama on Tuesday and an 12-8 win at Samford on Wednesday, The Trojans are the only team in college baseball without a series loss this season, as Sean Darnell's ninth-inning grand slam in Sunday's rubber match at South Alabama helped keep the streak alive.

The junior hit a solo home run in the fifth inning before crushing a 437-foot two-run homer in the seventh while adding a triple and two walks. First baseman Blake Cavill is tied with Bryan for the team-lead with 10 home runs this season, as the senior from Sydney, Australia also went yard on Wednesday.Â
Freshman Noah Thigpen will make his third consecutive Friday night start this weekend, and his first two have both been wins for the Trojans. In 10.0 innings over those two starts, the righty from Lake Park, Ga., has allowed three earned runs while striking out seven. Noah Edders has been a consistent force for the Trojans on Saturdays, as the right-hander ranks fifth in the Sun Belt with 66 strikeouts through his first 12 starts.Â
