No. 17 Troy Hosts Wofford, Heads to Florida A&M in Midweek Action

TROY, Ala. - The No. 17 Troy Trojans are set for an action-packed week as they're slated to host Wofford at Riddle-Pace Field on Tuesday before traveling to Tallahassee, Fla., to face Florida A&M on Wednesday.
Troy is coming off a monumental 2-1 series victory over No. 16 Coastal Carolina, which saw the Trojans pull off come-from-behind victories on both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's game saw Gavin Schrader hit a game-tying homer, Jimmy Janicki hit a go-ahead homer and Harrison Bowman hit a game-sealing grand slam.
The aftermath of the series saw the Trojans ranked in all five major Top 25 polls, peaking at No. 17 in the NCBWA Top 25, the highest ranking in Troy's history as a Division I program.Â
Freshman Noah Thigpen will make his first career start against Wofford on Tuesday. The right-hander from Lake Park, Ga., has made seven appearances out of the bullpen this season, pitching to a 4.35 ERA in 10.1 innings to go along with 11 strikeouts with just one walk.
