Women’s Golf Wraps Day Two in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Troy women's golf team slipped to 10th place following Saturday's second round of the FSU Match Up at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
Mathilda Ringblom led the Trojans on Saturday, carding three birdies en route to a 3-over 75, while Troy shot 27-over as a team and dropped from fourth to 10th on the leaderboard. Ringblom's solid round jumped her 13 spots on the individual leaderboard into a tie for 58th position.
Victoria Stutts is Troy's leader in the clubhouse in a tie for 24th place at 7-over for the tournament after carding a 9-over on Saturday, with one birdie on the day, while Alyssa Mercado is tied for 39th place at 11-over after shooting 79 in the second round.
Laura Fangmeyer carded three birdies in a round of 80 as she finished the day tied for 47th place, while Katelynn Altese is tied for 63rd place after shooting an 81.
Florida State increased its lead on Illinois to 13 shots after the Seminoles shot 1-under on Saturday. Houston is nine shots back of Illinois in third, while Alabama, Kent State and Indiana are tied for fourth.
Play concludes Sunday with the final 18 holes.
