Troy Women Set for Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Indoor Track & Field Team travels up to Birmingham, Ala., this week to compete in the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships on Monday and Tuesday.
The Trojan women are coming off a strong meet at the Music City Challenge, where they set 13 new personal bests. Haley Wilson had the second-best time in the 600m in Troy history (1:32.50) while Shanyah Washington did the same in the 60m (7.43).Â
Biniosa Ezukuse has put together a strong season in the shot put and weight throw. She took first place in the shot put at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (14.88m) and had the second-best weight throw in Troy history (18.05m) at the South Alabama Invite
The heptathlon and pentathlon get things started at 10 a.m. on Monday, while the majority of the action begins with the women's mile at 3:05 p.m. On Tuesday, the heptathlon kicks things off at 10 a.m. with the final round of the women's high jump slated for 11:15 a.m.
