Troy Athletics Announces Football Gameday Enhancements for 2024 Season

TROY, Ala. – Football gameday returns to Veterans Memorial Stadium on Troy's campus next week, and in preparation for the return of the two-time defending Sun Belt champions, Troy Athletics announced Friday its comprehensive list of gameday improvements and enhancements for the 2024 season.

"Each football season is special, and we only get six or seven opportunities each year to host our incredible fans at The Vet," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "We want to make every experience memorable for fans of all ages when they join us for a home football game. Our goal is simple – provide the best gameday experience and fan experience possible. Our entire staff spends countless hours preparing with that focus in mind while also creating an atmosphere that helps our team perform at the highest level. We cannot wait to see all of Trojan Nation back at The Vet for another exciting season."

The updates and enhancements surrounding Troy Football gamedays cover several different areas encompassing the entire day, from Tailgate Terrace to the stadium experience, tickets, parking and fans in premium areas. Below is the full list of updates fans can expect at The Vet in 2024.

Stadium Experience

Remember the Fourth Quarter Fireworks last football season against South Alabama? They're back … for every single home football game this season. We mean it when we say it will be a Four Quarter Party all season long.
Flames and pyro included as part of the team's pregame run out onto the field.
Debut of Trojan Ale, the officially licensed beer of Troy University, courtesy of Horn Beverage and Folklore, will be available in the stadium throughout the season.
Expanded Student Section – Troy University Students will now have access to Section 107 in addition to their previous Sections of 109, 111, 113 and 115.
Fan Song Requests – part of every home game at The Vet. Fill out your song requests by filling out this form – TroyTrojans.com/song
Student Song Requests – QR codes will be placed at the entrance of the student section so that students can make song requests throughout the season.
Reduced PA reads throughout the game. More crowd prompts. More live video shots. Get ready to have fun every game at The Vet.
Upper East Stands are now all General Admission sections.
Section 118 on the West Side of the stadium is now a reserved section.
Updated windscreens at key entrance points including the Student Section entrance and the North End Zone entrance from the West Concourse.
Additional point-of-sale lines are set up throughout all concession stands to help with expediting lines.
New menu boards throughout all concession stands.
Fan services kiosk at Gate 1 to service wristbands for Stadium Club and Michelob Ultra Lounge patrons.
Expanded offerings from Barnes & Noble at the stadium store for football gamedays on the West Concourse, Tailgate Terrace and the Stadium Club.
Student section giveaways for every home game.
Updated stadium maps placed in multiple areas of the stadium
Additional beer stands added throughout the concourse to add points of sale.
Return of the complimentary sunscreen stations throughout the concourse courtesy of the Alabama Department of Public Health.
Return of the Water Monsters provided by Stone Cold Heating and Cooling, where fans may fill water bottles with free water to remain hydrated throughout the game.
Misting fans available throughout the concourse for patrons to utilize throughout the game.
Adidas replica jerseys and sideline apparel will be available at the Stadium Store.
Several new state-of-the-art motion graphics have been added to further enhance the gameday environment.
Havoc cam…get ready to Cry Havoc! And let slip the dogs of war during key defensive stands.
Introduction of the Conecuh Sausage Red Zone.

Tailgate Terrace

New 12' tall by 25' long entertainment rig will be added to the Beer Garden on Tailgate Terrace for five of the six home games. This setup will feature two (2) 65" TVs along with audio, lights, and more so that fans can watch games from around the country leading up to kickoff.
New food trucks as part of the Food Truck Alley along University Blvd. in the lead-up to kickoff.
Full line-up of bands for the entire season as part of the Horn Beverage Tailgate Concert Series. Begins with The Springs on Aug. 31, followed by Johnny Barron and the Waterfall Band on Sept. 21, POPulus on Sept. 28, 12Eleven on Oct. 3, POPulus again on Nov. 2 and The Park Band on Nov. 30.
Kids Zone will feature various Troy Athletics teams throughout the season, along with inflatables and games.
Return of the Chill Zone in front of the concert stage with umbrellas and picnic tables for fans to enjoy.
Gameday activations from numerous sponsors prior to each home game for fans to win great prizes.

Stadium Club

Wristbands will serve as the identifier in the Stadium Club for patrons to present to gameday personnel. Wristbands will have the game date and opponent printed on them and will change colors for each home game.
Wristbands will be picked up upon scanning your ticket for entry into the stadium.

Trojan Threads, the official merchandise provider of the Trojan Warrior Club, will alternate with Barnes & Noble in the Stadium Club. Barnes & Noble will operate games 1, 3 and 5 of the season, while Trojan Threads will operate games 2, 4 and 6 of the season to provide additional offerings to fans in the Stadium Club and Suite areas.
The check-in lobby opens two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff, allowing fans to come inside from the heat earlier. The Stadium Club will open for ticket holders two hours before kickoff.
Additional space provided in the Lobby for fans to remain inside due to the repositioning of check-in tables.
New menu offerings provided for the meals throughout the season.
The menu for the week will be emailed out to Stadium Club patrons before each home football game.
Security will be positioned at the front of Sections A, B, C and D, checking for tickets/wristbands to gain entry into the Stadium Club seats.
Security will be positioned at the top of the steps, checking for tickets/wristbands to gain entry into the Stadium Club.
Security will be positioned at the side stairwells, checking for tickets/wristbands to gain entry into the Stadium Club.
Two 90-inch TVs included at the North and South ends of the Stadium Club.
Radio broadcast will be played throughout the Stadium Club speakers.
Improved signage at all entry points into the Stadium Club with pictures of the wristband needed to gain entry into the Stadium Club.
Return of two cell phone charging stations in the Stadium Club.

North End Zone

Wristbands will serve as the identifier in the North End Zone for patrons to present to gameday personnel. Wristbands will have the game date and opponent printed on them and will change colors for each home game.
New signage highlighting the North End Zone access point from the West Concourse to the staircase.
Wristbands will be distributed upon scanning your ticket for entry into the stadium at the North End Zone Rotunda or upon your arrival at the West staircase.
A satellite concession stand will be open on the West wing of the North End Zone in addition to the primary club area.

Michelob Ultra Lounge

Wristbands will serve as the identifier in the Michelob Ultra Lounge for patrons to present to gameday personnel. Wristbands will have the game date and opponent printed on them and will change colors for each home game.
Wristbands will be available for pick-up at the Guest Services Kiosk immediately inside Gate 1 for patrons in this area to pick up.
Patrons of the Michelob Ultra Lounge will be able to pick up their meal vouchers at the Guest Services Kiosk upon entry into the stadium.
Umbrellas will be available with each Michelob Ultra Lounge.

Parking

Updated parking lot signage to help better identify parking lots.
Digital parking passes are available for single-game parking passes within Lot 5.
Handicap shuttles will run from the handicapped parking lot (located next to Lot 2) up to the stadium gates.

Tickets

Season ticket holders receive a branded booklet for those who purchased by the priority deadline, which contains information on all items involving gameday.
Season ticket holders who purchased by the season ticket holder gift deadline may pick up their replica championship rings throughout the season at the main ticket office located in the Tine Davis Fieldhouse.
Mobile ticket delivery as an option for all season ticket holders and single-game purchasers.
Print-at-home ticket delivery as an option for all season ticket holders as well as for single-game purchasers.
All season ticket holders receive a 20 percent off coupon to utilize in the Barnes & Noble Bookstore, and it can also be used at the Stadium Store on gameday.
