Troy Athletics Announces Return of Gear Up for Gameday Promotion

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and its local business partners are teaming up to help Trojan fans load up on the newest Troy gear and take in the season opener at The Vet with a special promotion beginning August 14 and running through August 30.

Fans who purchase $75 worth of merchandise in-store from Barnes & Noble Troy Bookstore, Eagle Eye Outfitters, Heritage 1843, Barefield's, Confetti Crate, Hazel's, Trojan Threads, Needle and a Hook or the One TROY Shop will receive a coupon with a unique promo code for two free general admission tickets to the Troy vs. Nevada game on Aug. 31 at The Vet.

"We are extremely excited to partner with these great businesses to bring our fans a unique opportunity to get ready for gameday by purchasing Troy merchandise and have the ability to attend a Troy football game for the highly-anticipated season opener," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "The last year has been a record-setting one in terms of licensing revenue and this event will provide us with a great opportunity to thank our tremendous retailers and have fans purchase officially licensed merchandise."

Additionally, Troy fans are invited to join T-Roy, Troy Cheerleaders and members of the Troy Athletics Staff at Eagle Eye Outfitters in Dothan from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, for the annual Kickoff Event.
