TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics, especially the Trojan football program, saw unprecedented television coverage throughout the 2023–24 athletic season, with 193 games broadcast and 11 televised nationally.
Troy Football's appearance in the 76 Birmingham Bowl against Duke was televised on ABC, Troy's first-ever broadcast on the network, while four games were broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, two games were broadcast on NFL Network, the Trojans' game at Army was televised on CBS Sports Network and Troy's game at Kansas State was on FS1. Troy's nine nationally televised games in 2023 was the most in program history and represented a 50 percent increase from the 2022 season.
The Troy men's basketball team had a pair of games nationally televised this past season, with its double-overtime battle at Oregon State broadcast on Pac 12 Network, while its visit to Dayton was on USA Network; both were the first-ever appearances on those networks for a Troy program.
All told, Troy athletic programs were featured 163 times on ESPN+ and also had games on SEC Network+, Big Ten Network+, FloSports and ACC+, with Troy Athletics producing more than 60 percent of the ESPN+ broadcasts.
