Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

TROY, Ala. - Troy soccer unveiled its 2024 schedule on Tuesday ahead of head coach Stuart Gore's second season leading the Trojan program.
The 18-match schedule features seven matches at the Troy Soccer Complex and a competitive non-conference slate against teams from six different conferences.Â
A home exhibition against West Georgia on Aug. 10 will preview the season opener where the Trojans will host Eastern Washington on Aug. 15., the first ever meeting between the two teams.Â
The Trojans' first road match will come on Aug. 22 at Mercer, and they'll close the three-game road trip with battles against in-state foes Samford (Aug. 25) and UAB (Aug. 29).Â
Troy hosts Lipscomb on Sept. 1, a rematch of last season's 1-0 win in Nashville, and will close its non-conference schedule with a three-game road trip to Nicholls (Sept. 3), Southern (Sept. 8) and Jacksonville (Sept. 12).
The Sun Belt Conference schedule begins with a pair of home matches against ULM (Sept. 20) and Georgia State (Sept. 26) before they close out the month on the road in Huntington, W.Va., at Marshall (Sept. 29).
October begins in Lafayette, La., with the Trojans taking on Louisiana (Oct. 6). Texas State comes to Troy on Oct. 10 before the Trojans head to Mobile for their annual in-state rivalry against South Alabama on Oct. 13.Â
Troy splits the final four games of the regular season at home and on the road with weekend trips to Southern Miss (Oct. 20) and Coastal Carolina (Oct. 27) and Thursday night home matches with Appalachian State (Oct. 24) and Arkansas State (Oct. 31).Â
After the regular season, the Trojans will have their sights set on the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, which will be held in Foley, Ala., from Nov. 4-9 and will feature the league's top ten teams.Â
