Troy Baseball Earns No. 3 Seed for Sun Belt Tournament

TROY, Ala. – A 56-game regular season schedule concluded with the 36th victory for Troy baseball, clinching the No. 3 seed for back-to-back Sun Belt Conference Tournament appearances.
The Trojans open their route to the SBC Championship on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Riverwalk Stadium against No. 6 App State, who they played in the opening round of last year's tournament and won, 10-9.
With 18 conference wins, 19 at home and 17 on the road, Troy finished the regular season leading the conference in walks (362), on-base percentage (.427), runs (499) and sac flies (34) while having the individual leader in RBIs Brooks Bryan (82), complete games Luke Lyon (2) and walks Kole Myers (60).
Troy eyes its second SBC Championship as the tournament begins on May 21 with the first round before 10 teams battle their way to Championship Sunday on May 26 at 1 p.m. All games will be aired on ESPN+ throughout the duration of the tournament.
