Troy's Sun Belt Tournament Opener Postponed to 9 a.m. Thursday

MONTGOMERY, Ala - No. 4 seed Troy's Sun Belt Conference Championship opener with No. 5 South Alabama, originally scheduled for Wednesday evening, has been pushed back to Thursday at 9 a.m.
The postponement comes after the previous game between No. 1 seed Southern Miss and No. 9 seed Georgia State entered a weather delay in the third inning at DABOS Park. The Golden Eagles and Panthers will resume play at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Following Thursday's 9 a.m. opener, the loser of the game between Southern Miss and Georgia State will face the loser of Troy and South Alabama at 4 p.m. Thursday. The two winners will meet Friday at 11 a.m.
