MONROE, La. – Laura Fangmeyer fired a final round 71 and finished with 13 total birdies to lead Troy women's golf in Tuesday's final round of the ULM Invitational at the Bayou DeSaird Country Club.

Fangmeyer tied for seventh place overall at even-par after carding five birdies in her final round. Fangmeyer's 13 overall birdies were the second-most in the field, and her round of 1-under was her third of the season in the red.

Troy slipped into ninth place as a team after shooting 23-over on the day, finishing two shots back of Houston Christian and three back of UT Arlington. Sam Houston State maintained its opening round lead to knock off Arkansas State by 19 shots, while ULM moved into third place.

Alyssa Mercado, Troy's opening day leader, tied for 15^th overall after shooting 79 on the day, with two birdies in her round, while Katelyn Altese turned in a 5-over 77 to finish in a tie for 52^nd for the week. Playing as an individual, Jillian Friyia turned in a 60^th place finish after shooting 12-over on Tuesday, Manya Saini tied for 68^th after shooting 84 in the final round and Bruna Roqueta placed 70^th following an 86 to close out the week.

Troy now turns its attention to the Sun Belt Championship on April 15-18 at the Lakewood Club in Point Clear, Ala.
