Troy Football Adds Twelve on Signing Day, Announces Mid-Year Additions

TROY, Ala. – Troy head coach Gerad Parker announced the signing of 12 additional student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday to join the Troy program beginning with the 2024 season. Troy also announced Wednesday the 12 mid-year transfers to the program in addition to the 15 players Troy signed during the December signing period.
"We could not be more humbled and thankful for our time here," Parker said. "This staff has come in at different times in these last six weeks and hit the ground literally running, going from high schools to junior colleges all across the great state of Alabama and neighboring states to tie in a class we feel strongly about.
"The class is filled with great kids and great families," Parker said. "We wanted to pull from all three buckets (high school, junior college, transfers). It is critical for us to recruit high school kids, especially in such a talent-rich area we're in, in the state of Alabama. The junior college market is always going to be good to us, and we have strong ties to it with a couple of the guys we have on our staff, and then four-year transfers will always be a piece of it."
Almost half of Troy's signing class is already on campus, with 19 of the 39 new additions to the program enrolled for the spring term.
Troy opens spring practice on March 19 and will continue through T-Day on April 27.
