Troy Soccer Inks Nine to 2025 Signing Class

TROY, Ala. - Troy soccer coach Stuart Gore announced the signings of nine players to the Trojans' 2025 class on Friday. The group of high school seniors will begin competing with the Trojans during the 2025-26 school year.
"This is our first true class that we've been able to watch and engage with from the very beginning of their recruiting journey," Gore said. "This group brings a high soccer and technical IQ, which we believe will significantly raise the ceiling of our team moving forward."
Hayden Barnett - Midfield - Grayson, Ga. - Brookwood High School
Barnett comes to Troy following a standout high school career which saw her score 53 goals and rack up 48 assists across three seasons. This fall, Barnett was one of the top offensive forces in the Peach State, leading all Georgia 7A schools in points with her 23 goals and 20 assists.
Over her high school career, Barnett earned a plethora of different honors. She was named to the Georgia All-State Team and named the Midfielder of the Year in back-to-back seasons in 2023 and 2024 and was named to the Region 1 Team in three consecutive seasons from 2022-24. Barnett also won national and world championships in futsal with her club Joga Bonita in 2022.
Kelsey Barrett – Forward – Lutz, Fla. - Steinbrenner High School
Barrett joins the Trojans after a high school career which saw her dominate the 7A classification in Florida. Across three seasons, Barrett scored 22 goals with 11 assists for a total of 55 points in 40 games.
Steinbrenner High School saw nothing but success with Barrett leading the offense, as they went a combined 46-7-5 across Barrett's three seasons, which included a district championship in 2023.
Brooke Becker – Forward – Tampa, Fla. - Wharton High School
Keeping it in the Sunshine State, Brooke Becker comes to Troy from Wharton High School where she competed during her freshman and junior years. As a freshman, Becker helped Wharton to a 10-5-3 record and she continued her winning ways as a junior going 10-8-1 while leading the team to the district quarterfinals.
During her two seasons, Becker racked up a total of 34 points across 29 games. She showcased her goalscoring ability as a freshman with nine goals and two assists and proved to be a prolific passer as a junior with three goals and eight assists.
Keely Cash – Goalkeeper – Palm Harbor, Fla. - Palm Harbor University High School
Another Tampa area product, Cash joins the Trojans after being a force in net for Palm Harbor University High School. Cash has been a brick wall for the Hurricanes posted 0.471 goals against average as a sophomore and a 1.241 as a junior. She's off to a strong start to her senior season as well, with a 1.000 goals against average as the team is off to a 4-1 start to the season.
With Cash in net, Palm Harbor University High School went 19-1 and made it to the 7A State Semifinal during her sophomore year. During her junior year, they went 15-4-1 and made it to the State quarterfinals.
Isabella Hartofelis – Midfield – San Antonio, Texas – Ronald Reagan High School
Hartofelis comes to Troy from the Lonestar State where she racked up the hardware during her three seasons with Ronald Reagan High School. She was named to the All-District Team every season, was the Freshman of the Year her first season, and was a First Team All-Region midfielder her sophomore and junior years.
During her three seasons, Hartofelis totaled 27 goals and 20 assists while leading Ronald Reagan High School to three straight winning seasons. As a junior, Hartofelis scored 17 goals with nine assists, and led the Rattlers to a 20-3-1 record.
Layla Juliano – Midfield – Aldie, Va. - Lightridge High School
Juliano comes to Troy from Virginia, where she proved to be one of the top players in the DMV area as she was named to the All-District Second Team as a junior. Juliano has been a varsity starter since her freshman season and has starred on her club team, VA Revolution.
Juliano is also a standout futsal player, as she's won State Championships in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia while. On the soccer field, she won a Girls Academy National Championship in 2022 and had two more top three finishes in 2023 and 2024.
Marcelle Montanye – Midfield/Forward - Naples, Fla. - Aubrey Rogers High School
Montanye heads to the Wiregrass from the Gulf Coast of Florida, where she helped lead Aubrey Rogers High School to a 12-4-3 record and the second round of the 4A State Playoffs last season.
Montanye is off to a hot start this season, as she's scored four goals in the team's first six games, leading the Aubrey Rogers to a 5-1 record.
Melanie Oldner – Forward/Midfield - Kingwood, Texas – Kingwood High School
Oldner comes to Troy from Texas where her prolific offensive performance earned her numerous awards. As one of the top players in the Houston area, Oldner was named to the All-District Team as a sophomore, and as junior, her résumé grew as she was named All-District, All-Region, Offensive Player of the Year and Midfielder of the Year.
During that standout junior season, Oldner scored 19 goals and dished out 17 assists while leading Kingwood to a 16-5-4 record and the second round of the playoffs.
Izzy Skinner – Defender – Buford, Ga. - Buford High School
Coming from the Peach State, Skinner has done nothing but win during her time at Buford High School. She went 20-1 as a freshman, 15-3 as a sophomore and 21-1-1 while appearing in the 7A State Championship game as a junior.
Skinner has started for the varsity team each of her first three seasons, and helped anchor a Buford defense last season that surrendered just four goals in 21 total matches.
