Fourth Annual Troy First Pitch Banquet Set for January 24

TROY, Ala. – The fourth annual Troy Athletics First Pitch Banquet is scheduled for Jan. 24, 2025, in Trojan Arena. The First Pitch Banquet serves as the annual kickoff for the Troy Baseball and Softball programs, where fans can meet players and coaches for both teams. Fans can purchase their seats or sponsor a table by visiting TroyTrojans.com/firstpitch.

Head baseball coach Skylar Meade and head softball coach Eric Newell headline the event, and all fans in attendance can bid on exclusive Troy memorabilia, unique game day experiences and more in a silent auction. Additionally, Barry McKnight will open the microphone and engage with players from each program in a sit-down question-and-answer session. Attendees also have the unique opportunity to sit, eat and mingle with players and coaches from both teams.

Those wishing to attend the banquet can purchase individual tickets for $100 or a table (six seats) for $650 – a baseball and softball team member will be seated at each table. Table sponsorships are also available for $1,000, which includes one table and recognition at the banquet via the ribbon boards and video board. Dinner and drinks are included with the price of each ticket.

The 2025 schedule kicks off for the baseball program on Feb. 14 against St. Louis at Riddle-Pace Field, while Troy Softball opens the week before with the Trojan Classic on Feb. 6-9 at the Troy Softball Classic.
