TROY, Ala. – The fall schedule continues for Troy women's tennis at the ITA Southern Regional. The event starts on Thursday, Oct. 10, and runs through Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
"The ITA Regional is always a special tournament and a great opportunity for the girls to compete at the highest level and against ranked players in our regional," head coach Rawia Elsisi said. "It's a great challenge, especially after finishing a very successful weekend at Samford."
The Trojans are set to square off against opponents from around the Southeast, including five SEC teams and familiar faces from the Sun Belt Conference in Louisiana, ULM, Southern Miss and South Alabama. Troy finished the 2023-24 season ranked seventh in the ITA Southern Regional rankings. Emilia Namyslo opens the regional in singles play at 9 a.m. on Thursday in the qualifying round.
