TROY, Ala. -- Troy Baseball fans are invited to join Troy Athletics for Breakfast and Baseball on Wednesday ahead of Troy's Sun Belt Conference Tournament game against App State.
Gates open at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast in the Club Car Bar down the first baseline within Riverwalk Stadium ahead of the first pitch at 9 a.m.
The opening round matchup with the Mountaineers comes after Troy finished as the No. 3 seed in the Sun Belt, the nation's No.5 ranked conference. A win over App State pits the Trojans against either Southern Miss or one of the four teams playing Tuesday in the single-elimination games, while a loss sets up a 9 a.m. elimination game on Thursday.
The Trojans and Mountaineers just wrapped up a three-game series to end the regular season, which saw the Trojans win two out of three. This will be the first time these two programs meet in the conference tournament.
