Men’s Golf Tied for Fifth at Seminole Intercollegiate; Play Suspended

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Troy is tied for fifth place following Monday's action at the Seminole Intercollegiate hosted by Florida State at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course. All teams were more than halfway through their second round when play was halted due to darkness; teams got late starts due to poor weather in the morning.
Troy is 14-over par and tied with Indiana for fifth place. No. 8 Florida State is 19-under and in the lead, while No. 24 Ole Miss is tied with North Alabama at 3-over for second and Arkansas State is fourth at 12-over.
The Trojans shot 6-over in the first round, led by a pair of even-par rounds from Will McFadden and Nicklas Borrman. Jake Springer and Brantley Scott shot 3-over in the first round and Will Simpson finished his first trip through the course at 10-over par.
Teams are scheduled to hit the course at 7 a.m. (CT) Tuesday morning to complete the second round and roll straight into the third round.
