Men's Tennis Hosts Alabama State Tuesday

TROY, Ala. – Winners of six straight, the Troy men's tennis team returns home Tuesday to play host to Alabama State at 1 p.m. at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. Admission to all Troy tennis matches is free.
Troy (6-1) defeated Tennessee State on Sunday for its sixth straight victory dating back to a season-opening loss at Miami. The Trojans have dominated the top courts this year with a combined 12-1 mark on courts one and two, which has led to its overall success.
Carles Anton remains undefeated on the spring with a 5-0 mark and has won seven straight matches dating back to the fall. Freshman Mario Martinez Serrano has locked down the top spot in the lineup with a 5-1 record on court one, while fellow freshman Jules Fabre has settled into collegiate tennis, winning three straight after joining the team mid-year.
Noah Martens won both his matches last week after missing Troy's first five matches of the spring, and all seven Trojans who have played this spring have non-losing records with 6-of-7 on the positive side of the ledger.
Alabama State (1-6) is coming off a loss at UAB on Sunday following a win over West Alabama earlier in the week for its first victory of the season.
