Men’s Basketball Senior Day Jam Packed with Special Offers; Scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tip-Off

TROY, Ala. – With the Troy men's basketball regular-season finale scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Trojan Arena, senior day promises to be loaded with special offers and events for everyone in attendance.
The Trojans sit at 17-12, 9-7 SBC to find themselves positioned in a two-way tie for the fifth seed alongside Old Dominion. However, with two games left on the schedule, the Trojans stand a chance for the fourth seed, which guarantees them a bye in the tournament's first two rounds, having already clinched a first-round bye on Saturday.
Friday night marks the final home game of the 2022-23 campaign for the men's basketball team and the last career home game for Zay Williams, Lydell Geffrard, Nelson Phillips, Darius McNeill and Kieffer Punter. Pregame will include a senior day recognition in honor of their final game in Trojan Arena.
Halftime will feature a special presentation that brings back some familiar canine companions with the Halftime Dogs. The world record holders return to Trojan Arena with new tricks up their sleeves in a performance one can't miss.
For students, the theme for the game is "Suit Up," meaning students are asked to wear formal attire. The first 500 students in attendance will receive free bacon, while all students that attend will have a chance to win $1,000 in giveaways. The Greek Life Challenge also presents unique opportunities for bonus points with attendance.
Along with senior day, Friday's game is deemed Faculty and Staff Appreciation, along with STH Appreciation. Both groups can request up to four free tickets by going to TroyTrojans.com/thankyou – Faculty and staff must use promo FSAPP, while STH must use promo STH.
Ticket specials include $5 general admission, $10 reserved and kids 12 and under receive a free general admission ticket. In addition, Trojan Arena will collaborate with Riddle-Pace Field as fans who attend the baseball earlier Friday evening get into the basketball game for free with proof of attendance.
In-game festivities include special food items at the concession stand with the fried chicken special and $8 loaded fries.
