Women’s Golf Pair Earns All-American Scholar Athlete Honors

TROY, Ala. – Troy women's golfers ShaeLee Scarberry and Anna Claire Little were recently named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Athlete Team.
Student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, played in 50 percent or more of their team's competitive rounds and be of high moral character for inclusion on the WGCA All-American Scholar Athlete Team.
Little, who completed her Trojan career this past season, finished the year with a 77.56 stroke average having played in all 34 of Troy's rounds on the year. Little saw 83.9 percent of her rounds count towards the team card and carded a low round of 1-under 71 in her final collegiate round coming at the Sun Belt Championship.
Scarberry led Troy across the board with a 75.12 scoring average, 3.21 scoring vs. par, five rounds under par and 91.2 percent of her rounds counting towards Troy's team card. In addition, Scarberry turned in four top 10 and eight top 25 finishes in Troy's 12 events on the season.
