TROY, Ala. – Highlighted by trips to three of the league's newest additions, the Sun Belt announced the 18-game conference slate for the upcoming 2022-23 season Wednesday.
The schedule features nine home matchups, including a Saturday New Year's Eve matchup with Texas State, and trips to three of the Sun Belt's newest additions – Southern Miss, Marshall and James Madison.
"There are so many nuances to the upcoming conference schedule," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "From being placed in the West Division, to the addition of four new teams, to the new travel patterns, I believe that success in the 2022-2023 Sun Belt race will at least partially depend on our ability to navigate change. Though circumstances have changed, our goal remains the same: to keep the Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship in Troy."
The conference slate kicks off the final week of 2022 with Southern Miss (Dec. 29) and Texas State (Dec. 31) making the trip to Trojan Arena for the holiday weekend.
