Softball Senior Weekend – Need to Know

TROY, Ala. – As Troy Softball prepares to take on in-state rival South Alabama this weekend, Troy Athletics has put together an exciting schedule of promotions to have fans ready to Beat South.
The Trojans will kickstart the series at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by a 6 p.m. matchup Friday night and the Saturday series finale at 2 p.m.
Cinco de Mayo
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, there will be $3 tacos available at the concession stand Thursday night.
Thirsty Thursday
Also, as a part of Thursday's promotions, the first 100 fans to the Troy Softball Complex will receive a free koozie.
World Ovarian Cancer Day
Friday is World Ovarian Cancer Day. In honor of Alex Wilcox, a former teammate of Leanna Johnson and Holly Ward who passed of ovarian cancer, the first 250 fans in attendance will receive a teal ribbon.
Letterwinners Game
Troy Softball invites all softball letterwinners to Friday night's game. Softball letterwinners will be recognized on the field prior to the game and will be hosted on the patio during the contest. To RSVP, contact Stephen Brown at (334) 670-3384 or rbrown181103@troy.edu.
Concessions Special
On Friday, Troy Punch will be $2 at the concessions stand.
Bobblehead Giveaway
The first 50 Troy students Friday will receive a T-Roy bobblehead.
Senior Day
On Saturday, Troy Softball will honor seniors Tate Moseley, Kaylee Chapman, Candela Figueroa, Adia Polk, Logan Calhoun and Haley Postell prior to the game.
Kids Zone and Run the Bases
There will be a kids' zone available throughout the game with inflatables for kids of all ages to enjoy. Following the Saturday matinee, kids are invited to run the bases.
Lanyard Giveaway
The first 200 fans Saturday will receive a Troy branded lanyard.
