Education Day Announced for May 17

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and Troy baseball will celebrate Education Day on Tuesday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. as the Trojans take on the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers.
"The home finale against UAB will be a special day here in Troy," head coach Skylar Meade said. "Education day will allow us to get tons of kids in the stands to watch us play. Connecting to the youth is the area that is important to us, and I am so happy with the work of Kyle George, Teresa Sims, and others that have made this day a reality."
It will be the final home game of the season for Troy, and all elementary school-age children receive free admission to the game. In addition, the Trojans will see several of their friends from Troy Elementary in attendance.
Season ticket holders will still receive access to the game, which moves up to 10:30 a.m. from its initially scheduled time of 6 p.m.
Schools, administrators, and teachers looking to bring their classes to the game and request tickets can contact Executive Associate Director of Athletics Kyle George at kylegeorge@troy.edu.
