TROY, Ala. - Hagar Amin leads Troy to victory with her second game-winning match of the season, defeating Arkansas State, 4-3, on Saturday at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.

Amin Does it Again
The match was all knotted up, 3-3, with only Amin at play on court three after Andrea Widing failed to overcome the deficit to Yasmine Humbert, 6-1, 6-4.
Amin swiftly took the first set against Nejla Zukic, 6-1, before being blanked by the opposing Red Wolf, 0-6.
Heading into the extra set, the freshman took the early lead, 3-1. Then, with the fourth set all tied 40-40, the Egyptian native pulled off the crucial point to take the 4-1 lead.
The last two saw Amin dominate her opponent, clinching the victory, 6-1, providing the 4-3 win in her second "walk-off" of conference play.
Back-and-Forth
The conference foes delivered equal blows throughout the match. The Red Wolves gained control early in doubles, 1-0, winning 2-1 after Thea Rice/ Zukic defeated Anastasiia Khokhlova/Widing, 6-4.
The match was tied, 2-2, after Franziska Ahrend secured the 6-1, 6-4 victory over Sofia Vdovychenko on court five.
Michelle Ncube shifted the momentum to the Trojans on court two, ending two rallies by Emily Surcey.
Ncube found herself down early before taking a comfortable lead in the first set. Despite the late effort by Surcey, Ncube claimed the first, 6-4. She followed it in the second set, battling to give Troy just enough cushion, 3-2, for Amin to win it all.
Hear From Amin Herself
"I'm just so happy. I was a little bit stressed, but the men's team and my teammates were extremely supportive in that last set. I would also like to thank coach Rawia Elsisi for her support and encouragement."
"That last point, I decided not to leave any doubt. It was going back and forth, and I couldn't believe I got to a couple of those volleys. It was not expected, but I'm so happy I was able to get it done."
