Women's Golf Adds One in Early Signing Period

TROY, Ala. – Troy women's golf head coach Randy Keck announced the addition of one of the top junior golfers in India to the Trojan roster on the first day of the early signing period as Manya Saini signed her National Letter of Intent.
We are so excited to have Manya join our program," Keck said. "She brings a tremendous golf résumé and wealth of experience. She has proven to win golf tournaments under many different conditions. Manya's incredible short game and her fantastic work ethic fit perfectly with what we do here at Troy Women's Golf."
Ranked as the No. 13 junior in India, Saini boasts a 74.5 scoring average, four handicap and shot a 4-under 66 in the 2021 Birdies Tour Inaugural Open in 2021, for which she won the qualifier and qualified as the number one seed in match play in the inaugural tournament of the all-girls Birdies Golf Tour. She battled former Indian Amateur Champion Kushi Hooda to a 1-up defeat in the semifinals of match play in the event.
Additionally, Saini finished second in the IGU Western India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Tournament at Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Resort in 2018.
