Men’s Tennis Completes Bedford Cup, Closes Out Fall Season

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Francisco Erramuspe and Vito Llinares picked up wins on Saturday as Troy closed out play at the Bedford Cup hosted by Florida State.

The Trojan pair each won matches in the consolation part of the bracket, with Erramuspe winning in straight sets over South Florida's Sam Frizelle and Llinares winning over Stetson's Sami Ozzor, who retired in the first set down 4-1.

Llinares and Erramuspe both finished the weekend with a pair of victories in four opportunities against some of the top players from across the state of Florida.

The event closed out a successful fall campaign for the Trojans, and they will now turn their attention toward the spring season.
