TROY, Ala. – The 30th-anniversary celebration of Troy's NCAA record-breaking game against DeVry on Jan. 12, 1992, has been rescheduled to Feb. 12 inside Trojan Arena when Troy takes on Little Rock in the final Saturday home game of the season.Â
Â
The Trojans will roll back the clock to the early 1990s as they don commemorative jerseys with the iconic "Troy State" emblazoned across the chest like the ones worn by the 1992 squad responsible for scoring 258 points in a single game.
Â
The highlight of the evening will be honoring the members of the 1992 Troy State men's basketball team led by legendary coach Don Maestri. All team members are invited back for this game as Troy's guests, will receive free tickets to the game and be part of a special presentation during halftime. Members of the 1992 Troy State men's basketball team are asked to RSVP to Stephen Brown at rbrown181103@troy.edu or 334-670-3384.Â

Additionally, 2,000 t-shirts highlighting the old T-Roy mascot design and "Troy State" sponsored by Premier Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be distributed while supplies last as fans enter Trojan Arena. Rally towels commemorating the historic record will be made available to the Troy student section to be used throughout the game.Â
Â
The event was forced to be rescheduled after the game surrounding the original date – Jan. 15 vs. Georgia State – was canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.Â
Â
Tickets for the game may be purchased by contacting the Troy Ticket Office at 334-670-3681 or by visiting TroyTrojans.com/Tickets.
