TROY, Ala. – The Troy women's golf slipped a pair of spots into seventh place following Sunday's second round of the USA Intercollegiate at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course.
ShaeLee Scarberry continues to lead the Trojans after shooting a 1-over 73 with a team-best five birdies on the day. She is tied for 14th place overall and sits even par heading into Monday's final round.
Anna Claire Little and Elisabeth Preus are tied for 34th place at 4-over for the weekend. Little shot 2-over Sunday after with three birdies on the day, while Preus finished the day at 4-over with a pair of birdies. Playing as an individual, Alyssa Mercado shot up the leaderboard into a tie for 49th place after a 2-over 74 thanks to an eagle on the par-5 No. 16.
Elizabeth Caldarell is tied for 15th place at 7-over for the weekend following a round of 77 with a birdie and Bruna Roqueta is tied for 71st place at 9-over.
Troy will play Monday's final round with a pair of Sun Belt foes in Little Rock and Georgia State; the first threesome goes off No. 1 at 8 a.m.
