Troy Announces 6 p.m. Kick Time for Georgia Southern Game

TROY, Ala. – Troy's Sun Belt Conference home opener against Georgia Southern on Saturday, Oct. 9, at The Vet will kick off at 6 p.m. The game time is subject to change due to the league's television contract with ESPN.
The game against Georgia Southern marks the only opportunity for fans to catch the Trojans at home in October. Beginning this weekend, the Trojans open a stretch where they will play five of their next six games on the road.
Among the items surrounding the game against Georgia Southern, it will be Football Letterwinners Day at The Vet, Parent & Family Weekend (TroyTrojans.com/FamilyWeekend), Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Varsity Cheer Clinic (Varsity.com/spirit-days), Band Day (TroyTrojans.com/BandDay) and Preview Day.
The Trojans travel to Southern Miss this weekend for a non-conference matchup. Kickoff against the Golden Eagles is set for 6 p.m., and ESPN+ will broadcast the game.
