Women’s Golf Completes Day One of UNF Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Troy women's golf team is in 16^th place following Monday's opening two rounds of the UNF Collegiate at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

The Trojans struggled to find any consistency throughout Monday's 36 holes and shot a combined 64-over par in the two rounds. ShaeLee Scarberry was the lone Troy golfer to stay in the 70s in both of her rounds and she is tied for 49^th place at 13-over par.

Host-North Florida holds a one-shot lead over Sam Houston State at 13-over par, while Chattanooga is seven shots back in third place.

Nicole Lorup is tied for 59^th place at 15-over par following rounds of 81 and 78, while Anna Claire Little and Elisabeth Preus are tied for 73^rd place at 18-over par. Judith Castro is tied for 91^st place at 26-over par, and Elizabeth Caldarelli is tied for 54^th place at 14-over par, but her rounds do not count towards Troy's team card because she is playing as an individual.

Troy will look to bounce back in Tuesday's final round which is scheduled to get underway at 7:45 a.m. (CT).
