JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Troy women's golf team wrapped play at the UNF Collegiate Tuesday as the Trojans finished in 16^th place among the field of 17 teams at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Nicole Lorup completed her rebound following a rocky opening round as she shot 3-over 75 with five birdies in Tuesday's round to move up seven spots into a tie for 52^nd place overall. ShaeLee Scarberry wrapped up the week as the only Trojan to shoot in the 70s all three rounds after she closed with a 6-over 78 to finish in a tie for 54^th place.

Lorup and Scarberry each finished with seven birdies over the three rounds to tie for the team lead, while Elizabeth Caldarelli and Elisabeth Preus finished with four.

North Florida won the event by 10 shots over Sam Houston State while Chattanooga and South Alabama were 12 shots back in a tie for third.

Playing as an individual, Caldarelli turned in Troy's third-best score of the event with an 18-over-par 236 to tie for 58^thplace after carding a 78 on Tuesday. Preus carded her best round of the week with a 4-over 76 to climb into a tie for 65^thplace, while Anna Claire Little tied for 88^th place and Judith Castro finished 93^rd.

Troy will look to bounce back next week when the Trojans make their third trip of the spring to the state of Florida. The Trojans are set to compete in the Spring Break Shootout on Monday and Tuesday hosted by Western Kentucky at the Lake Jovita Country Club in Dade City.
